Notice of a Change in the Largest Shareholder among the Major Shareholders
Fukuda Denshi Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) would like to announce that the largest shareholder among its major shareholders has changed as follows on July 1, 2009.
1. Reason for the change
As Steel Partners Japan Strategic Fund (Offshore), L. P. (“Steel Partners”), the then-largest shareholder of the Company, submitted the “Large-Shareholding Report (Change Report)” to the Kanto Finance Bureau on July 7, 2009 (the reporting obligation arose on July 1, 2009), and it was confirmed that Steel Partners is no longer the largest shareholder among the major shareholders of the Company.
